The Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Eire is a rare colorway of the retro skate shoe inspired by an historic event that took place in Ireland in the 1910s. The event in question took place on Easter Monday in April 1916 when a group of Irish nationalists attempted to seize Dublin with the intention of overtaking British rule in Ireland and creating an independent Irish Republic. The shoe’s release came 90 years after the historic uprising. As for its design. the Eire nods to the colors found on the Irish flag. Specifically. the base is designed in white suede while the overlays are constructed in green linen. An orange suede Swoosh appears on the sides. and orange Nike branding is embroidered on the heel.
