The Atlas x Nike SB Dunk High Lost at Sea is a limited edition collaboration between the San Francisco area skate shop and Nike SB on the skate-centric Dunk silhouette. Atlas’ take on the venerable Dunk is inspired by The Great Spill of 1990. when 21 cargo containers spilled into the Pacific Ocean following an overseas voyage from South Korea to California. Interestingly enough. over 61.000 pairs of Nike shoes were aboard the container. and would eventually wash up on different coastlines. This design salutes the Air Flight 90 that was found on a beach in San Francisco. The upper features an all-over Sail suede construction. Contrasting Ocean Fog suede Swoosh detailing can be found on either side. The aquatic inspired hue also appears on the padded collar and tongue. Dual Nike SB and Atlas embroidery is arranged in the same design as the branding found on the Air Flight 90. The pre-yellowed midsole and yellow shoe laces adds to the retro vibe of the shoe.
